Step 1. Setting up Stripe

This is a one-off process that links your stripe account to RewindFitness so that you can receive payments directly from the app.

  1. Start by heading to the Administration page and then scrolling the top row to the Stripe Setup button.

  2. Next start the setup process with the ‘Create Stripe Account’ button.

  3. You’ll be redirected to the Stripe site where you’ll continue the process. Note that if you already have a Stripe account, you can use this existing account - just login and follow the prompts.

  4. When you complete the process you’ll receive a message that the process was successful. Close this page (use the Done button, top left) and return to the app.

  5. Stripe now executes the onboarding process in the background. When you return to the app, just use the ‘Finish Stripe Onboarding’ button to check if the process is complete.

  6. When complete, you’ll get a message at the bottom of the screen saying you’re ready to accept payments.

Step 2. Enabling users

  1. Go to either the Clients list or the Self Employed PT’s list from the home page.

  2. Enable in-app payments for the client or PT by swiping their name left and choosing the ‘Stripe In App’ option.

  3. That’s it! This user can now pay in the app. Back in the client/pt list, ‘Stripe’ will be displayed next to their name to show they can pay in-app.

  4. To disable, edit the user and switch off the ‘user can pay in app’ switch.
